Saudi Arabia is hosting the world’s first Esports World Cup

Competitive gaming is projected to become a $9 billion industry by 2032, and Saudi Arabia is hosting the inaugural Esports World Cup, where over 1,500 players are competing across multiple games for a record-breaking $60 million prize. CNN’s Eleni Giokos speaks with Ralf Reichert, the CEO of Esports World Cup Foundation, about Saudi Arabia’s interest in esports.
