The frisky feline takes on seven pit bulls

Dogwalker: The dogs were "completely minding their own business"

Nobody puts Baby in a corner.

A frisky feline named Baby, who’s clearly a big believer in personal space, took on seven – yes, seven – pit bulls after one of them showed a friendly interest in her.

This happened in Victoria, British Columbia, when a group of women walking the dogs strolled by the front lawn of the house the 10-pound cat has called home for almost 16 years.

“She’s kind of a slow sort of thinking cat, but one thing is she is very protective of me,” Baby’s human roommate, Betty Jean Thompson, told the Times Colonist.

And the sight of seven dogs ambling through its ‘hood set Baby off.

“The dogs were walking by, completely minding their own business,” Kyla Grover told the newspaper.

“The cat just goes at all of the dogs, not backing down.”

One of the dogs and its owner were scratched up enough that they went to the hospital for treatment.

“Usually you don’t get seven dogs walking. It’s pretty intimidating, even if you were a pedestrian on the sidewalk pushing a stroller or something,” Del Thompson told CNN affiliate CITV.

The Thompsons paid the $222 vet bill for the maimed dog’s facial injuries.
